<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower connecting structure of automobile, capable of preventing degradation in appearance and airtightness thereof without causing increased cost or degraded installation accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: At a lower side portion 18a of an upper inner panel 18, an extension portion 18e extending to be positioned lower than a floor panel 5 is formed. At the extension portion 18e, a reference hole 18d for positioning in an installation process is formed. At a portion which faces the extension portion 18e of the lower inner panel 17, a coating liquid discharging hole 17d for discharging coating liquid in an electrodeposition coating process is formed.
