PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage device which enables easy replacement of thermal storage media while improving the heat transfer performance between the thermal storage media and a heat transfer member. SOLUTION: The heat storage device includes: the thermal storage media 2 including metal oxide, heating exhaust heat by reaction heat generated when forming a hydrate by reacting metal oxide with water and storing heat of the exhaust gas by separating hydrate into metal oxide and water; the heat transfer member 10 providing/receiving the heat between the thermal storage media 2 and exhaust gas; and pressing members 6 each pressing the thermal storage medium 2 against the heat transfer member 10 to reduce heat resistance on the interface between the thermal storage medium 2 and the heat transfer member 10.
