PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patient recognition system and a transfer sheet for patient recognition that can surely prevent the replacement of patients and perform suitable treatment to patients by surely confirming the patients. SOLUTION: Patient information on the patient who came to a hospital is acquired from a server 3 by a patient registration terminal 1, and print data coding the acquired patient information is originated. Mirror image processing for converting the originated print data into a mirror image is carried out to print the mirror image on a transfer sheet, and the coded patient information stuck to the patient is read by a patient confirmation terminal 2. Based on the read patient information, medical chart information is acquired from the server 3 and displayed. The transfer sheet includes a print sheet on which the print data is printed as a printing layer, and an adhesive sheet for sticking the printing layer to the patient through a white layer.
