PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer suitable to form a light emitting layer in a light emitting element layer of an organic light emitting device. SOLUTION: The printer 10 includes a frame 5; a flat plate-like ink plate 20 which is disposed on the frame 5 and has a gravure plate section 14 and an onyx plate section 1; and a transfer roll 24 which abuts on the ink plate 20 to receive ink 30. The transfer roll 24 has a center roll 25, and a bracket portion 27 and a flexo portion 23 provided on the circumferential surface of the center roll 25. The bracket portion 27 is configured to receive ink 30 from the gravure plate section 14 of the ink plate 20 and to transfer the ink 30 onto a substrate 52, and the bracket portion 27 is formed of an elastic material. The flexo portion 23 is configured to receive ink 30 from the onyx plate section 1 of the ink plate 20 and to transfer the ink 30 onto the substrate 52, and the flexo portion 23 is also formed of an elastic material.
