PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management information acquisition device which can shorten a period until obtaining the latest TDMS (management information) by reducing seek frequency and to provide a reproducing device, management information acquisition method and management information acquisition program. SOLUTION: AμCOM11 starts spin up from TDMA 0 in which TDMS is at first written among a plurality of TDMAs 0-2 (step S1): determines whether a point in which the spin up has started has already been written (step S5); obtains, when it is determined that it has not been written (N in step S5), the latest TDMS by searching inside the TDMA 0 in which the TDMS is written at first (step S8); determines, when determining that it has been written (Y in step S5), the TDMA in which the latest TDMS is written by reading the information in a TDMA 2 access indicator and TDMA 1 access indicator (steps S12-S16); and obtains the latest TDMS by searching the determined TDMA (step S17 and S20).
