PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cut-off material which has a function of preventing water from intruding into the joint between bridge girder sections relatively moving upward and downward, and which has high visibility by hardly causing accumulation of garbage. SOLUTION: This cut-off material 14 includes: a flat plate-like back portion 40 which is integrally formed of an elastic member so that a cross-section orthogonal to a longitudinal direction can be set almost constant, and which is fixed to the first outside surface 22 of a first medial strip 21; a flat plate-like upper inclined portion 41 which is elongated obliquely downward from the lower end of the back portion 40 so as to separate from the first outside surface 22; a flat plate-like lower inclined portion 43 which is elongated obliquely downward from the lower end of the upper inclined portion 41 so as to come closer to the first outside surface 22; and a seat portion 44 which is elongated along a second top surface 33 of a second medial strip 31 from the lower end of the lower inclined portion 43 so as to separate away from the first outside surface 22. The cut-off material is formed in such a manner that the lower inclined portion 43 is bent more easily than the upper inclined portion 41; and one chevron-shaped portion is provided between the back surface 40 and the seat portion 44.
