A natural material is developed that can continue to be consumed routinely in a safe, inexpensive, and convenient manner, that has a pronounced inflammation-suppressing effect, and is effective in the prevention and/or amelioration of a variety of inflammatory diseases and inflammatory conditions. It was found that a light-activated material derived from a solvent extract of blue soybean seeds has an extremely strong interleukin-2 production suppressant effect. On the basis of said findings, provided is an anti-inflammatory agent comprising said light-activated material. |
