<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin distance image acquisition device requiring low cost for attaining a deep subject depth, without movable sections. <P>SOLUTION: The distance image acquisition device includes an imaging unit, having a lens array where a plurality of lenses are array-arranged and an imaging element for imaging a compound eye image as an assembly of a contraction image (individual image) of a subject imaged by each of the plurality of lenses. The plurality of lenses constituting the lens array include two or more lens pairs having differing radii of curvature, and two lenses defining a lens pair have the same curvature radius. An arithmetic unit divides the compound eye image imaged by the imaging element into individual images; extracts the individual image pair having most correct focus from the individual image pairs corresponding to respective lens pairs; and performs parallax detection by using the individual image pair, thereby acquiring a distance image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
