<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrocardiographic apparatus which improves detection accuracy of an R wave in an electrocardiogram waveform. <P>SOLUTION: The electrocardiographic apparatus comprises an electrode array 10 including a plurality of first electrodes 10a-10g contacting the upper arm of a living body, a second electrode 12 contacting the living body at a wrist side part compared to the electrode array 10, a first electrocardiogram measuring section for measuring R waves in electrocardiogram waveforms of the living body by differential detection of potentials between every one of the first electrodes 10a-10g of the electrode array 10 and the second electrode 12, an electrocardiogram specifying section which specifies, on the basis of measurement results of R waves by the first electrocardiogram measuring section, one of the first electrodes of the electrode array 10 that has measured an R wave having positive polarity with the largest amplitude and another one of the first electrodes of the electrode array 10 that has measured an R wave having negative polarity with the largest amplitude, and a second electrocardiogram measuring section that measures an R wave in an electrocardiogram waveform of the living body by differential detection of potential between the one of the first electrodes and the another one of the first electrodes of the electrode array 10 specified in the electrocardiogram specifying section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
