<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can easily recover copper from a copper-containing object to be processed in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: An object to be processed comprising a sparingly soluble oxygen-free copper compound is subjected to vapor phase oxidation, and metal copper or copper oxide or cuprous oxide is produced from the oxygen-free copper compound. Next, an aqueous solution comprising sulfuric acid or ammonia is acted on the object to be processed after the vapor phase oxidation treatment, and copper is made into the form of a soluble salt so as to be recovered. As the object to be processed, e.g., copper-containing dross or matte produced in lead refinement, copper-containing lead ore or copper-containing lead sulfide is used. The oxygen-free copper compound is suitably a compound of Cu and at least one kind of element selected from Sn, Sb, S and Se. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
