<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem with an optical scanner having a plurality of light sources, wherein a normal synchronization signal (BD signal) can not be generated due to overshooting or undershooting of the rotation speed, when the rotation of a driving motor which rotates and drives a polygon mirror is accelerated and the rotation speed of a polygon mirror can not be controlled. <P>SOLUTION: As for a period for output of a light beam for generating the BD signal, the period while the rotation speed of the rotary polygon mirror is being accelerated or decelerated is made longer than the period while the rotation speed of the rotary polygon mirror is controlled at a constant speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
