<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling water conveyance along a cable for carrying out simple and more even water-shutoff treatment without affecting the condition of the cable, a water-conveyance control member, and an auxiliary tool for cables. <P>SOLUTION: The auxiliary tool 200 for cables is used for water-shutoff treatment in which a plugging material 120 is provided in a stranding center space of three stranded cables 100a to 100c. Shafts 302a to 302c having cable contact bars 301a to 301c that are pressed between the respective cables serve as guide mechanisms and are fixed to a variable ring base 40. A box 50 for a torque wrench set with a wrench boss 501 can rotate the base 40 to a predetermined direction, as a rotation support member, with the cable contact bars 301a to 301c respectively pressed between the individual cables 100a to 100c, thereby changing the clearances between respective stranded cables and arranging the plugging material 120 in the stranding center space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
