<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus with enhanced safety against temperature increase. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 1 is provided with: an air release passage 4 through which air flows from a fan 3 to an air outlet 4a; an air release passage 5 branched from the middle of the air release passage 4, and communicating with an air outlet 5a; an air amount sensor 7 arranged on the air release passage 5 for measuring the amount of air which flows from the air release passage 4 to the air release passage 5 and is released from the air outlet 5a; and a determination means 8b for determining whether or not the air outlet 4a is covered based on the amount of air measured by the air amount sensor 7. In the information processing apparatus 1, as the determination means 8b determines that the air outlet 4a is covered, it is possible to prevent the information processing apparatus 1 from causing malfunction and failure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
