PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having few components and being light weight of the components, and reducing the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The connector 1 includes a female connector 10 and a male connector 20. The female connector 10 is provided with a female-side pressing surface 13, against which a first work surface 41 of a holder 40 abuts and which receives force in the fitting direction of the female connector 10, and the male connector 20 is provided with a male-side pressing surface 24, against which a second work surface 42 of the holder 40 abuts and which receives force on the first work surface 41 side of the holder 40. By having the first work surface 41 and the second work surface 42 of the holder 40 come close to each other, the female and male connectors 10, 20 are fitted together.
