PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum carburizing device which suppresses carburizing unevenness in a workpiece and the generation of sooting while suppressing variation in the amount of the carburizing gas fed into a vacuum carburizing furnace. SOLUTION: The vacuum carburizing device 1 includes: a liquid hydrocarbon flow passage part 10 carrying liquid hydrocarbon on measurement; a carburizing gas flow passage part 20 vaporizing a prescribed amount of liquid hydrocarbon to generate a carburizing gas, and further carrying the generated carburizing gas; and a vacuum carburizing furnace 30 subjecting a workpiece to carburizing treatment in a carburizing gas atmosphere containing the carburizing gas. The carburizing gas flow passage part 20 includes: a vaporization chamber 21 vaporizing liquid hydrocarbon; and a sensor part 22 for controlling the carrying of the carburizing gas while detecting the generation of the carburizing gas by monitoring at least either the pressure or temperature in the vaporizing chamber 21.
