PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pipe assembly for supplying fuel to an injection valve arranged in a head. SOLUTION: The fuel pipe assembly includes a nut 115 for connecting a fuel pipe 5 to the injection valve, a locking nut 70 for fixing the fuel pipe into the nut, and a deformable clamping member. The nut includes a tube portion 115a having a bore 17 into which the fuel pipe enters, a front end 115b to be cooperated with the head 5a of the fuel pipe, and a base end 115c for engaging with an adaptable mounting mechanism for the locking nut. The locking nut has a mounting mechanism for engaging with a bore 71 into which the fuel pipe enters and with an adaptable mounting mechanism for the nut. The clamping member has a bore 83 into which the fuel pipe enters, and is compressed and deformed. In a first engaging condition, the locking nut and the nut form a capacity large enough to receive the clamping member in a strain-free form so that the fuel pipe can be moved in the horizonal direction. In a second engaging condition, the clamping member is compressed and deformed between the locking nut and the nut to constrain the horizontal movement of the fuel pipe.
