<p>Disclosed is a solar cell module: that reduces the extrusion of a sealing material from engaging portions of a frame; of which the task of assembling the frame is easy; and that prevents the occurrence of damage to a weather-resistant film on the back surface thereof. The solar cell module has a frame (20) attached to the rim of a solar cell panel (10). The frame (20) has engaging portions (22) that engage with the rim of the solar cell panel (10) with the sealing material (40) therebetween. The engaging portions (22) are provided with; an opening (22a) into which the rim of the solar cell panel (10) is inserted; a top surface (23) that faces the front surface of the solar cell panel (10); a bottom surface (24) that faces the back surface of the solar cell panel (10); and a vertical wall section (25) that extends vertically from the bottom surface (24) and links to the top surface (23). A rib (26) that protrudes towards the solar cell panel (10) is provided to the bottom surface (24) in the vicinity of the position of the rim of the solar cell panel (10). The leading edge of the bottom surface (24) of the opening (22a) and the leading edge of the rib (26) that faces the opening (22a) are formed in a chamfered shape.</p>
