The actuator (1) has a collet (2) provided with two magnetic portions (3, 4) decorated in a longitudinal direction (12). A non-magnetic intermediate sleeve (5) is arranged between the portions. A solenoid coil (6) lies an outer side of the collet. An inner pole (7) is stationarily laid within the collet. An anchor (8) is moved in the longitudinal direction of the collet. The sleeve is arranged at a transition from the inner pole to the anchor lying within the collet. The sleeve is made of plastic material. Two abutting surfaces are fixed vertical to the longitudinal direction of the collet. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a magnetic actuator.
