PURPOSE: A power head-room transmission method and apparatus thereof are provided to prevent a waste of a resource by reducing a number of reports about power head-room and to improve the reliability of power head-room calculation. CONSTITUTION: A terminal calculates instant path-loss and average path-loss between the terminal and a base station(S100). The terminal determines a weighted parameter according to channel condition(S110). The terminal calculates adjusted path-loss based on the weighted parameter, the average path-loss and inspection path-loss(S120). The terminal calculates power head-room based on control path loss(S130). The terminal transmits the power head-room to the base station(S140).
