<p>An air-inlet end shield structure for a generator set comprises an end shield (10), sound absorbing layers (200) and rainproof stoppers (300). The end shield is composed of an end body (100) and an air box (20). The end body includes an end plate (11), fixing plates (12) and a cover wall (13). Air-inlet grilles (T) are mounted on the lower ends of the left and right sides of the end plate. Round holes (K) of the end plate are respectively provided on the upper, lower, left and right ends of the end plate. The fixing plates are installed on the back side surface of the end plate. The edge of the end plate projects inwardly to form the shield wall. The air box (20) for surrounding the air-inlet grilles is provided on the inner side of the end shield. The air box includes a box body (21) and partition plates (22) connected to the box body. Induced draft chambers (23) are respectively provided on the lower ends of the left and right sides of the air box. An air-outlet opening (M) is provided in the middle of the air box, and the partition plates (22) are disposed between the air-outlet opening and the air-inlet grilles. The air-inlet end shield structure efficiently reduces the outward radiation of the set noise, prevents rainwater from entering the interior of the set through the air-inlet grilles and the round holes, and absorbs the internal noise of the set.</p> |
