IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, METHOD OF STARTING UP THE SAME, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of improving convenience in power-on or in recovery from a power saving state by shortening a standby time required for availability of an image processing apparatus by a user.

SOLUTION: The mechanism is characterized in that the user presses down a function selector 2010 to select a function to be preferentially started together when powered on, and as a result, a CPU 1100 controls so that programs (a plurality of programs divided per function) corresponding to the selected function are started up (are preferentially loaded and executed from an HDD 1130 to a RAM 1110 and made to be available).
