<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an alkali soluble resin, that can be used suitably for a photosensitive resin composition usable suitably to produce a color filter, a liquid crystal panel, etc. because of having photosensitivity, alkaline developability, adhesion, and plate-making property of the same, and can easily control molecular weight using an aprotonic solvent. <P>SOLUTION: The method is to produce an N-vinyl cyclic lactam polymer by performing polymerization of monomer components containing a (meth)acrylic monomer and an N-vinyl cyclic lactam compound, and comprises a process of performing polymerization of the monomer components in coexistence of a chain transfer agent and a hydroxy group-containing compound in the aprotonic solvent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
