<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply compose at a low cost a pan for rice cooking/boil cooking which achieves energy saving by shortening boil cooking time or the like, and is effective for preventing boiling over or scatter of a stock. <P>SOLUTION: An apron part 2e erected surrounding the outer peripheral part of a pan lid 3 is provided on the peripheral edge of the opening of a pan body 2. The shape of the pan lid 3 is made to a cross section arch shape with a high center and low circumference. A plurality of discharge holes 7 are penetrated in prescribed parts of the pan lid 3. A member 5 for discharging steam or the like which is an elastic material made of a heat-resistant rubber covers the upper part of these discharge holes 7. Recessed groove 8 which extend in the radial direction and are opened toward the peripheral edge are provided on the lower face of the member 5 for discharging steam or the like.
