PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with good display quality by avoiding malfunction of a drive circuit. SOLUTION: An auxiliary capacitance line drive circuit CA includes: a first circuit Tr in which a first input signal M is applied to a first electrode, and a clock signal VSR is applied to a control electrode; a second circuit Tr2 in which a second input signal MB is applied to a first electrode, and a control electrode is connected to the control electrode of the first circuit Tr1; a third circuit Tr3 in which a control electrode is connected to a second electrode of the first circuit Tr1, a first electrode is connected to an output terminal, and a first source voltage is applied to a second electrode; a fourth circuit Tr4 in which a control electrode is connected to a second electrode of the second circuit Tr2, a second electrode is connected to the output terminal, and a second source voltage is applied to a first electrode; a first potential retaining means which retains the potential of the control electrode of the third circuit Tr3 at a first level when the first circuit Tr1 is off; and a second potential retaining means which retains the level of the control electrode of the fourth circuit Tr4 at the first level when the second circuit Tr2 is off.
