PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constantly maintain stable image quality, even when an area existing before one round of a developing sleeve corresponding to a toner pattern is a solid image, by correcting a toner pattern adhesive amount to the toner adhesive amount which should be detected originally and feeding it back to toner concentration control. SOLUTION: An image area rate of the area 504 existing before one round 503 of the developing sleeve corresponding to the toner pattern 512 (located in the past in length equivalent to one round of the sleeve temporally in image forming order) is acquired, and the toner adhesive amount of the toner pattern 512 calculated based on detection data by an optical detection means is corrected in accordance with the acquired image area rate.
