PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor which can generate continuous image data that suppress formation of an unnecessary clearance between mutually adjoining original images when a continuous image with a plurality of original images continued in a predetermined direction is recorded on a recording medium, and to provide a data processing method and a recording apparatus. SOLUTION: When first pixel group data are inputted to a transfer switch 63, a bit shifter 66 performs bit-shifting of second pixel group data so that second pixel data are set to a less significant position than a position where first pixel data are set in the first pixel group data.
