The present invention discloses a method and device for implementing automatic frequency control. The method includes the following steps: calculating the correlation value and the frequency offset value of common pilot symbols of the receiving signal of each path, calculating combined frequency offset value based on the frequency offset value of the receiving signal of each path, and determining, based on the combined frequency offset value, frequency offset adjustment value for Voltage Controlled Oscillator, frequency offset adjustment value for the whole receiving signal and frequency offset adjustment value for the receiving signal of each path. By using the method and device of the present invention, compared with prior art, a new method of small scope frequency estimation is selected, making frequency estimation more exact; by using Coordinate Rotation Digital Computer (CORDIC), hardware resources are saved and calculation accuracy is improved; frequency offset adjustment control policy enables radio frequency adjustment to be more gentle and enhances the stability of the system. |
