The component (1) has a bearing centre (3) for receiving a bearing i.e. rubber metal bearing, and arranged in a releasing direction of the component. Bevels are formed with an air passage for an interference fit between the bearing centre and a bearing outer sleeve of the bearing under prevention of an additional mechanical working of the bearing centre after cooling of the component. The bearing centre comprises a conical annular space and a doubled conic annular space, where the component is made of a light metal such as aluminum or an aluminum alloy. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an axle component i.e. wheel-guiding steering, for a car.
