The grinding device (1) has a tool shaft (3) which bears multiple processing units (2) axially spaced apart from each other. Multiple crankshaft bearing bores, corresponding to the number of processing units, are provided in the crankcase. Each processing unit, arranged on the tool shaft, has a grinding wheel (4). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a crankcase with a crankshaft bearing.
