<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease composition capable of realizing an excellent low-temperature performance and a torque stability under durability conditions. <P>SOLUTION: The grease composition comprises a thickener and a base oil comprising a poly-α-olefin and an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer, provided that the poly-α-olefin has a kinematic viscosity of 18-400 mm<SP>2</SP>/s at 40°C, the ethylene-α-olefin copolymer has a number average molecular weight of 40,000-200,000 and is contained in 4-12 mass% of the whole grease composition, the base oil has a kinematic viscosity of 400-2,500 mm<SP>2</SP>/s at 40°C, and the thickener is an alkali metal soap and/or an alkali metal composite soap contained in 2-8 mass% of the whole grease composition or is an alkaline earth metal composite soap contained in 15-25 mass% of the whole grease composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
