PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which allows center alignment of an optical sensor lens, with a highest degree of accuracy. SOLUTION: The present invention is for developing an optical sensor for detecting a combustion process within a combustion chamber. The optical sensor includes at least a lens system facing the combustion chamber; a beam guide (5), and a sleeve (4) surrounding the lens system and one end of the beam guide (5). The optical sensor is such that the lens system is constituted of at least a single virtual plano-concave lens (1) and a double-sided concave lens (2), where flat face of the plano-concave lens (1) is exposed to the combustion chamber.
