PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light collector capable of effectively utilizing solar light falling onto the device and efficiently collecting light, and a light collecting heat accumulator using the light collector. SOLUTION: A base 2 includes a photoreception panel 3, first reflectors 4, 5, 6, 7, and second reflectors 8, 9, 10, 11. The second reflectors are disposed above and around the outer periphery of the photoreception panel. Solar light L from the vertical direction with respect to the photoreception panel is received by the photoreception panel without being shielded by the second reflectors 2, and solar light falling onto the outside of the photoreception panel reflects on the first reflectors and the second reflectors, and the reflected light is received by the photoreception panel. Further, by moving the base 2 by each of motors 43, 48, the photoreception panel is made to face the sun, and solar light is made incident on the photoreception panel from the vertical direction.
