PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To credibly prevent a nozzle holder and a hose from being damaged when drawing out the hose. SOLUTION: The hydrant apparatus comprises a hydrant door 18 arranged on an opening at a front surface of a casing in such a way that the door is opened/closed freely using its lower end as an axis, the hose 44 with a nozzle 45 stored within the casing, the nozzle holder 84 arranged on the inside of the hydrant door 18 for holding the nozzle 45 so as to be detached freely, and a hose guard structure 80 for preventing the hose 44 drawn from the casing from contacting the nozzle holder 84. The hose guard structure 80 comprises a lid member 86 covering the outside of the nozzle holder 84, a mounting member 88 fixed on the inside of the hydrant door 18, an axis 90 pivoting the lid member 86 with respect to the mounting member 88 so as to be opened/closed freely, and a spring 92 energizing the lid member 86 in the closing direction.
