PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller capable of surely detecting unevenness of ground surface and enabling simple control at a low cost by using a piezoelectric ceramic element as a ground detection sensor to detect strain and impact generated by contacting with the ground surface. SOLUTION: There is provided the seedling transplanter furnished with a ground leveling rotor (4) to level the ground surface in front of a seedling planting part (2). Contact detection sensors (3) composed of the piezoelectric ceramics plate and detecting strain and impact generated by contact with the ground surface of a field are placed at proper parts of the seedling planting part (2). The ground contact sensors (3) are positioned in a pair to place the ground contacting faces along the ground surface, and the planting posture of the seedling planting part is automatically controlled based on the detection result of the ground surface unevenness.
