<p>The subject of the invention is a mechanical watch with automatic windup of the kind comprising a movement comprising a barrel spring (4), a device (8) for spontaneously winding up the barrel spring (4) equipped with a micromotor (9) powered with electrical energy by a rechargeable battery (11), and a control system (12) for controlling the switching on and off of the micromotor (9). According to the invention, the control system (12) is configured to measure, in real time, the torque generated by the barrel spring (4), to detect an excessive value or threshold (A, B) of the torque corresponding to the start of the phase of relaxation or of unwinding of the spring (4) and an excessively low value or threshold (A, B) corresponding to the final phase of the relaxation, and to send a command ordering activation or deactivation of the micromotor (9) when one or other of these two thresholds (A, B) is detected, these two torque thresholds (A, B) delimiting a range of optimal operation of the spring (4).</p> |
