PURPOSE: A two-pedal electric bicycle is provided to reduce the effort for propulsion and offer the effect of exercising to a person sitting behind a rider by allowing the person to step on pedals. CONSTITUTION: A two-pedal electric bicycle comprises three one-way gears which are installed side by side on the hub of a rear wheel and an electric motor and two sets of pedals(1) which selectively provide a drive force. The axle of the rear wheel is coupled to a bicycle body via a cylindrical bearing(2) and can be rotated freely. |
