<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply system capable of preventing a temperature of an exhaust from lowering when fuel is supplied to an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine to which emulsion fuel can be supplied. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel supply system, which can be supplied with emulsion fuel prepared by mixing fuel oil with a prescribed liquid and causing emulsification to the mixture includes: an in-cylinder injection valve 10 that injects fuel into a cylinder 2; an exhaust addition valve 23 that injects fuel into an exhaust passage 4; a fuel oil tank 18 that stores therein fuel oil; a prescribed liquid tank 20 that stores therein the prescribed liquid; and supply means 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24 that supply the fuel oil or the emulsion fuel obtained by mixing the fuel oil with the prescribed liquid, to the in-cylinder injection valve 10, and also supply the fuel oil to the exhaust addition valve 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
