<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a lens closely to a light source and to make a light distribution pattern formed by the lens bright on the whole. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting device includes a substrate 2, a light emitting element 32 provided on the substrate 2, a coating material 34 provided upheaving on the substrate 2 and covering the light emitting element 32 to diffuse and emit light of the light emitting element 32, the lens 5 which is opposed to the substrate 2 while the light emitting element 32 and coating material 34 are interposed between the substrate 2 and the lens 5, and a reflecting surface 46 surrounding the light emitting element 32 and coating material 34 between the lens 5 and substrate 2, and tilting toward a direction from the substrate 2 to coming close to the lens 5 and in a direction separating from the optical axis of the lens 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
