PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional long and short fiber composite spun yarn having various functions of exhibiting soft luster, having little fluffs, good water absorptivity, tightness and stiffness, scarcely forming a knot in production process and giving soft touch to the skin, and to provide a functional textile product produced by using the spun yarn and having various functions of excellent antipilling property, less likely to move obliquely in production process and generating little pills in addition to the above functions of the yarn. SOLUTION: The functional long and short fiber composite spun yarn includes a sheath part covering a core part, wherein the core part contains a lame yarn (1), the sheath part contains short fibers, the short fiber of the sheath part comprises a short fiber group A(2) arranged nearly parallel to the lame yarn (1) and a binding short fiber group B(3) binding the short fiber group A and the lame yarn, and the long and short composite spun yarn is essentially twistless as a whole.
