PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine preventing unnecessary scattering of transmission source information by surely erasing the transmission source information, and determining the authenticity of received document content. SOLUTION: The facsimile machine is equipped with: a storing means for storing specific information notified by a facsimile communication means in received facsimile information; an image analyzing means for analyzing image information; and a determining means for determining whether information coincident with the specific information is included in an analyzed image. According to a determination result, a description part of the specific information, such as the transmission source information is erased and transferred, and the correctness of the received information is printed and displayed.
