PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a molded body which is excellent in shaping properties and has good transferability of a mold cavity surface to a non-foamed layer. SOLUTION: In the method, a laminate 1 which has a first foam layer 11 made of a propylene resin, a second foam layer 12 adjacent to the first foam layer, and the non-foamed layer 13 which adjoins the second foam layer and is made of a polymer having a melting point of 150-180°C and is heated so that each of the surface temperature of the first foam layer and the surface temperature of the non-foamed layer is 200-230°C is arranged in a mold 4A having a pair of mold members each having a cavity surface 410A inside, next, the mold 4A is sealed to form a void between at least one side of the laminate and the cavity surface in the mold which faces the side, next, the inside of a cavity is decompressed to expand the laminate, after the expanded laminate is solidified, the mold is opened, and the molding is taken out, thus producing the molded body 3A.
