PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging bag being self-standing, allowing a printed display on the top part or bottom part of the packaging bag, and visually recognizing the display from above by solving the problems of a conventional packaging bag. SOLUTION: In the packaging bag, the circumferential edge of a laminate having at least a base material layer and a sealant layer is sealed. A horizontal fin seal portion is formed in the center of the back side of the packaging bag by facing sealant layers of upper and lower end edges of one laminate each other. Upper and lower laminates of the packaging bag are folded to form gusset portions. Both edges are sealed, the lower gusset portion is opened to form the bottom surface part of the packaging bag, and the upper gusset portion is opened to form a top surface display portion to be visually recognized from above the packaging bag.
