PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bait log 1 that has an easy winding operation of a line sinker on a body and a sinker and in which the line sinker after the winding does not change in position and is stable. SOLUTION: The bait log includes the body 2 and the sinker 3 fixed to the lower part of the body 2, a recessed part 15 for engagement with the line sinker is formed at least at a part of the lower edge 12 of the sinker 3, and the recessed part 15 represents a partial oval shape cut by a virtual straight line in parallel with a major axis.
