PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical apparatus and an endoscope apparatus performing various types of illumination on an observation area under satisfactory conditions at all times when a general observation using white light and an observation using particular light such as narrow bandwidth of light are performed. SOLUTION: The medical apparatus includes an insertion unit 19 which is to be inserted into a subject and a light source 41 which supplies illuminating light into the insertion unit 19. First irradiation portions 71A, 71D to emit white light, second irradiation portions 71B, 71D to emit narrow bandwidth light within a wavelength band narrower than the white light, and observation windows for observation of the subject are each disposed on the front end surface of the insertion portion 19. Each of the first and second irradiation portions includes a pair of irradiation windows. When a line bisecting a front end surface of the insertion unit 19 passing through the center point of the observation window is regarded as a border line, the pair of irradiation windows of the first irradiation portions are disposed on both sides sandwiching the border line and the pair of irradiation windows of the second irradiation portions are disposed on both sides sandwiching the border line. A fluorescent body 57 is disposed behind each of the optical paths of the pair of observation windows of the first irradiation portions to form white light. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
