Extrusion of extracts, flavors and/or vitamins to produce storage-stable granules, where long-chain inulin with an average polymerization degree of greater than 20 is used as formulation components, and the formulation components are continuously dosed in multi-stage process in an extruder, preferably twin screw extruder (1), is claimed. An independent claim is included for granules obtained by the above process, where the granules are flowable, storage-stable extrudate (6) and are stable at a relative humidity of 75-84%.
