PURPOSE: A composition containing Ligularia stenocephala extract, fraction, or compound isolated from the same is provided to relieve, prevent, and treat obesity-related diseases. CONSTITUTION: A composition with an activity of removing peroxynitrite contains Ligularia stenocephala extract, fraction, or compound isolated from the same as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared by isolating with water, low alcohol of C1-4, and mixture solvent. The low alcohol is methanol. The fraction is a butanol fraction or ether fraction.
