PURPOSE: A method for inspecting a defect of a device is provided to easily and accurately determine whether a mounted device is properly connected. CONSTITUTION: An area corresponding to terminals of a device is divided into an area corresponding to the body of the device and a separate interest area. Height data of terminals are obtained by measuring the height of each terminal of the device located in the interest area(S320). It is checked whether the terminals of the device are located on the same plane using the obtained height data(S330). It is determined that it is good when the terminals of the device are located on the same plane. It is determined that it is bad when the terminals of the device are not located on the same plane(S340).
