<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus capable of dynamically changing a degree of redundancy in error-correction coding of transmission data in a higher layer, in accordance with a degree of redundancy in a lower layer. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication apparatus has: a detection section for detecting first redundancy information indicating a degree of redundancy in a physical/MAC layer of radio communication; a communication control section for determining a second degree of redundancy in a higher layer than the physical/MAC layer based on the first redundancy information detected by the detection section; a packetize section for packetizing transmission data to produce a data packet; and a redundant coding section for adding a redundant packet to the data packet produced by the packetize section on the basis of the second degree of redundancy determined by the communication control section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
