<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem with a conventional method, wherein when a plurality of audio objects are encoded with various MPEG-4 formats to form a composed audio signal, the plurality of audio objects are decoded separately in a receiver, and mixdown instructions are transmitted and used to prepare a sound track, mixdown conflicts can occur in case the audio signals to be combined have different channel numbers and/or channel types. <P>SOLUTION: An additional audio channel configuration node with correct channel configuration information items is used to supply the decoded audio data streams.
