PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling property of an in-wheel motor by providing a cooling system by a coolant. SOLUTION: The in-wheel motor includes: a tubular housing 126 which internally accommodates a rotor 12 and a stator 10; a vent hole 124a which takes in the outside air from the outside of the housing 126 toward a peripheral surface of the housing 126; a cooling air passage 124b which flows the outside air taken in from the vent hole 124a by making the peripheral surface of the housing 126 face to the axial direction of the housing 126; and a coolant passage 124d constituted inside an outside wall 124c forming the cooling air passage 124b.
